SMART Wokingham offers free and confidential support for residents of Wokingham who are affected by drug or alcohol use. They are currently offering LIVE CHAT for young people here in Wokingham:
It's week two of 'LIVE CHAT' for young people!
WHAT IS LIVE CHAT?
LIVE CHAT is a free online service for young people (living or going to school in Wokingham) to ask our team anything to do with drugs and alcohol.
WHEN IS LIVE CHAT?
LIVE CHAT is available every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 2pm-4pm. This is currently a trial and will run until (and including) Wednesday 23rd December.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Young people here in Wokingham are frequently exposed to drugs and alcohol. Some of you may already be using substances and need support, while others of you will have questions and might be on the edge of making a decision to drink alcohol or use drugs. There will be many, perhaps like you, trying to deal with another person's drinking or drug taking, especially during these testing times. It's VITAL we reach young people and let you know the truth and facts about substances. The team will be promoting harm reduction and pathways into treatment.
How can I get help?
This service is available here: www.smartcjs.org.uk/wokingham-live-chat .
